Game Overview
The Thing: Remastered is a heart-pumping, survival-horror experience that drops you into the frozen wasteland of Antarctica as Captain J.F. Blake, leader of a U.S. Special Forces rescue team. Your mission is to investigate the mysterious events and enigmatic deaths at Outpost 31 research facility, but things quickly take a turn for the worse when your team encounters a shape-shifting alien life-form that assumes the appearance of people it kills. As you navigate the treacherous environment, you'll need to use all your wits and firepower to survive, managing the psychological state of your team members and making tough decisions about who to trust and who to eliminate. In 20 frightening levels, lead your team against terrifying monsters, from scuttling head-spiders and human-like walkers to gigantic multi-tentacled beasts. Gameplay combines fast-paced third-person shooting with strategic use of elemental 'Vigor' powers, as well as careful management of resources and equipment.
